What to expect on the call

Before we call you, here's a quick breakdown of what you can expect from us.

A caring adviser

Simplified information

Honest, reliable advice

A way out

What is expected of me?

Not much, we just ask you to treat all of our advisors and support teams with respect. We know that discussing a debt problem can be sensitive and can trigger some emotions. We are here to help you, just remember that.

Also, if you can keep communication with us at all times, that would be really appreciated as we receive hundreds of enquiries per week and helping everyone can sometimes be a handful, especially if we need to update you on your case.

What information do I need for the call?

In short, nothing. You just need the time to tell us about your problem and we can do the rest.

If you have debt letters or emails from your creditors, that would be really helpful but it's not necessary as we can do a soft credit search on the call to locate your debts.

We will then ask you about your personal finances and walk you through your options by delivering the facts and keeping it simple.

Common questions

How much will it cost me to get advice?

Getting advice from us costs nothing. We connect you with regulated debt advisers who will assess your situation for free. If a paid solution is recommended, your adviser will explain all costs clearly before you agree to anything.
How do you know what solution is best for me?

We don't decide — your regulated adviser does. They'll review your income, debts, and circumstances to recommend the most suitable option. Every situation is different, so the advice is always tailored to you.
What is the best way to deal with my debt?

It depends on your situation. Options range from informal arrangements like a DMP to formal solutions like an IVA, DRO, or bankruptcy. Your adviser will walk you through what's available and help you understand the pros and cons of each.
I feel nervous about speaking to someone about my debts

That's completely normal and you're not alone. Our advisers speak to people in your situation every single day. There's no judgement, no pressure — just a friendly conversation to understand how we can help. You've already done the hardest part by reaching out.
